Giving Back
We believe in giving back to the community that gives us so much is not only an honor but a responsibility. Raising funds for non-profit organizations is getting harder and without everyone supporting them they would not be able to continue the good work they do.
We support the following organizations and encourage you to look at their websites to see what they do.
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
We strongly believe in the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's work. Their dedicated scientists are holding the keys to unlocking the science that will eventually lead to cures of many diseases that were once thought treatable -- not curable. Their work is vital and are making the word "cure" a reality - not a dream.
North Shore Land Alliance
https://northshorelandalliance.org/
The North Shore of Long Island has been my home for my entire life. I have seen land disappear. I have seen critical ecosystems destroyed. In early 2000's The North Shore Land Alliance was formed to save our land, wildlife habitats, and restore native areas that were once in danger of becoming extinct. If you love the way the land looks coming to shop at Silver Creek, the NSLA is working hard to keep the open spaces for your children's children.
Old Westbury Gardens

Old Westbury Gardens is so much more than a gorgeous Gold Coast estate. They have preserved a part of life that is no longer. The gardens are magnificent and their programs are wonderful learning experiences.
Preservation Long Island

As history and antiquity lovers, Preservation Long Island does just what their name says it does. They work hard to preserve the colorful and wonderful history we all should be very proud of as Long Islanders.
Raynham Hall

Without Robert Townsend, the American Revolution may have had a very different outcome. Raynham Hall was occupied by the British soldiers, as most coastal communities on the North Shore were. It was a brutal occupation, many homes and churches were burned or destroyed. Without the help of George Washington's Spy Ring, of with Robert Townsend was a member, the war was going to be lost. Robert Townsend uncovered the British plan to make patriot currency worthless thus leaving the new, struggling nation penniless and unable to continue the fight. He and the other great patriots of the Spy Ring were able to save our currency and our new country. The Raynham Hall Museum preserved the house as it was during the Townsend time and teaches children about the history of the American Revolution and how a few daring men and one (possibly two) women helped win the war.
Re-Store Habitat for Humanity

We believe in second chances. For people and for furniture. When we are emptying a client's house, if there are good pieces that can help furnish a residence for people in need, we call Re-Store Habitat for Humanity. Everyone benefits and it is a great feeling.
